Rental Car

Renting a car is a great option if you plan to explore beyond the city. Roads are well-maintained, but during winter, you should be comfortable driving on snow and ice. Several rental companies operate from Tromsø Airport and downtown.

Biking is popular in summer, with rental bikes available. However, icy conditions make winter cycling challenging. Walking is an excellent way to explore the city center, as most attractions, restaurants, and shops are within a short distance.
